Sporting and Collectors' Sale: Lions, Tigers and Bears!

Once again the Sporting & Collectors Auction at Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood is upon us with an even greater number of eclectic and unusual items over the 3rd/4th September 2014.
Taxidermy may seem macabre to many, but there are still collectors of Tiger skins (SC19/60) and cased birds today. At the other end of the spectrum are the doll and teddy collectors who are just as fanatical as the rest of us when it comes to our collecting passions. Certainly the large blonde plush Steiff bear (SC19/858) and the push along growling Polar Bear (SC19/852) could warm the heart of anyone dismissive of the sale.

The two day sale has already attracted a great deal of international interest via the Internet and strong competition is expected on the day from buyers who will travel to the sale on the day.
