An Early 20th Century Steiff Blonde Plush Bear 'Big Ted' (SC19/858) offered in our Two Day Sporting and Collectors Sale starting on 3rd September 2014 at our salerooms in Exeter, Devon.
Lot Description
An early 20th century Steiff blonde plush bear 'Big Ted', with stitched nose and mouth, humped back body and movable limbs, 93cm tall, together with letter of provenance and family photographs.(restored) *Note - Big Ted was purchased by vendors grandfather Captain George Frederick Jenkinson in 1918 whilst serving in the Army, he has remained within the family through several generations.
