The Private View for the Autumn 2015 Fine Art Auction was an enjoyable event attended
by the Deputy Lord Mayor of Exeter that provided our invited guests with an opportunity
to view the oil sketch by John Constable, which later realised £252,000 in the sale.

The Private View for the
Autumn 2015 Fine Art Auction
was well-attended with a lot of excitement surrounding the auction of the oil sketch
Landscape with Horses
by
John Constable RA (1776-1837).
The sketch went on to realise £252,000 during the auction itself. You can learn

Cllr Lesley Robson, the Deputy Lord Mayor of Exeter, attended the evening. Guests
were addressed by art expert
Andrew Thomas
who updated those present with the results of the earlier
Summer 2015 Fine Sale
as well as guiding them through some of the more interesting items that had caught
his eye.
Guests were able to view the extensive number of high quality lots while being treated
to sparkling wine and canapes. The evening was kindly sponsored by
Charles Stanley.
