With over 25 years experience in the art and auction world, Alex is an experienced General Valuer and Design Specialist. 

Initially working in specialist galleries in St Ives, Alex joined Bonhams (Bath) in 2007, working on their Wales and West Country sales, cataloguing pictures and Studio ceramics. A move to Salisbury saw him join Woolley and Wallis, becoming Saleroom manager and assisting with the Design sales.

After a spell of freelance consultancy work, predominantly advising clients with collections of Studio ceramics, Alex joined Rosebery's as Associate Specialist and Design Consultant. Most recently, he returned to Bonhams as a General Valuer, carrying out house calls, valuation days, and formal valuations, while also working closely with the Design department in London. 

His particular passions are British Studio Ceramics and Modern British art, especially Cornish paintings from 1900-present day.
