Another of the interesting pieces within the furniture auction of the Spring 2014 Fine Art Sale to be held on 30th April 2014 is an oak Gothic Revival sideboard designed by William White for Bishop's Court, Exeter (FS22/932).

This piece of Victorian furniture has a mirrored superstructure with a shelf and carved with scrolling foliage and a flowerhead. The base is of breakfront outline with three drawers, flanked by two panelled doors with polychrome decoration and iron strapwork hinges. The provenance of this sideboard is from the Bishop's Court Sale in September 1994 conducted by Bearne's.
The pre-sale estimate is £3,000-£4,000.
