The violins range in quality from late 19th century copies of Stradivarius violins, through to an early 20th century violin by Johann Glass a violin maker working in Leipzig, who produced instruments for the Gewandhaus Orchestra and conservatory. More modern examples come from China and were produced in the last quarter of the 20th century. Estimates range from £40-£1,000.
