Our picture consultant, Martin Scadgell, has been busy in Cornwall during November 2012 attending valuation days in Truro, Falmouth and St Ives and meeting clients with single pictures and larger collections. Martin has been providing valuations and advice about selling at auction.
The Picture Department is now cataloguing for the major fine art sales in the Spring and the specialist sales throughout the New Year.

We have pictures by Howard Hodgkin, Luke Piper, William Russell Flint, Robert Lenkiewicz and J Anthony Park in our January 2013 Fine Art Sale and we are delighted to be selling in our April 2012 Fine Art Sale an oil by Paul Feiler (b 1918) entitled 'Cornish Harbour', which was exhibited at the Leicester Galleries in 1953. It is estimated at between £30,000 and £50,000 and is part of a private fine art collection of Modern British and St Ives pictures and sculpture.
