There are two large modern paintings by artist John Plumb (1927-2008) in our next Antiques & Interiors Sale on Tuesday, 4th August 2015.
Plumb was born in Luton in 1927 and studied at the Byan Shaw School and The Central School of Art and Design. He died in 2008. The Tate Gallery holds his work.
The second of two untitled pictures by the late painter John Plumb (1927-2008), which are being offered for auction in Exeter. Both pictures carry a pre-sale estimate of £400-£600.
The two paintings in the auction are both untitled, one being a version of the 1992 canvas called Lemon Drop. They measure 120x120cm and 181x240cm and each have estimates of £400-£600.
