The upper part of this piece of Georgian furniture has a moulded dentil cornice fitted with adjustable shelves enclosed by a pair of pointed arch astragal glazed panel doors. The lower part has a central hinged fall enclosing a fitted interior with small drawers and pigeon holes about a central enclosed compartment.
The cupboard below is fitted with sliding trays and enclosed by a pair of moulded panel doors, flanked by four small drawers to either side. It measures 192cm (6ft 3 1/2in) wide x 237cm (7ft 9 1/4in) high and is inviting bids of £4,000 - £6,000.
Over the next week or so, I will be sharing some other highlights from the furniture section of this auction,
