Branching East

Dowell Street Saleroom in Honiton, Devon.

It is a year since the merging of Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood and already we are expanding Eastwards in the County of Devon into the Antiques centre and market town of Honiton.

We have re-opened the long established auction room in Dowell Street in Honiton with the first auction of antiques, collectables, silver and jewellery being held there on 16th February 2010.

The Okehampton Street Saleroom in Exeter will be retained as the flagship venue for Quarterly Fine Sales and Maritime Sales, which have grown in popularity, particularly because of the live online bidding facility that is offered.

The Honiton operation will be developed as the Westcountry's centre for collector's items, sporting items and books. There is an exciting schedule of sales planned for the year with two books sales and two sporting sales and collector's sales. Already many entries have been consigned for these sales and it is hoped that these auctions will further build in strength in the new location.

The antiques and collectables sales will be held fortnightly in each saleroom and a sale of silver and jewellery will be held on alternating months in each venue.

There will also be a busy schedule of valuation days being held throughout the year with visiting specialists in a variety of fields including silver, jewellery, ceramics, glass, works of art, clocks and watches, stamps, furniture, sporting and maritime items and books.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone to our new saleroom. For enquiries regarding this exciting new development in Honiton, please contact Christopher Hampton on (01404) 510000.
