An early 12-bolt square corselet diving helmet by CE Heinke Sub Marine Engineer, Gt. Portland Street, London, stamped number '2', three circular observation windows, the front window with safety chain, lashing eyes above, rear air inlet, outlet valve to the rear of the left side window, thumb screw lock to the rim, the corselet with centre mounted outlet valve, flanked by copper bar weight hangers, the brails with reinforcing ridges and wing nuts stamped as per title, 47cm high. *Note - CE Heinke were at this address from 1860 until 1904.

Lot Description

An early 12-bolt square corselet diving helmet by CE Heinke Sub Marine Engineer, Gt. Portland Street, London, stamped number '2', three circular observation windows, the front window with safety chain, lashing eyes above, rear air inlet, outlet valve to the rear of the left side window, thumb screw lock to the rim, the corselet with centre mounted outlet valve, flanked by copper bar weight hangers, the brails with reinforcing ridges and wing nuts stamped as per title, 47cm high. *Note - CE Heinke were at this address from 1860 until 1904.
