A Victorian 1834 pattern Household Cavalry Officers sword by Henry Wikinson for JG R Homfray 1st Life Guards, the straight single edge blade with acid etched decoration, crown and 'VR' cipher to one side the other with regimental crest and family armorial, makers mark to shoulder as per title and numbered '24793' to back of blade, over brass mounted steel pierced three quarter basket hilt with single quillon, wire bound fish skin grip, white leather bullion loop, blade length 97cm, (no scabbard).
