A deactivated Third Reich period MP40 9mm sub machine gun by Styer-Damler-Punch AG, Steyr, Austria, number 768, 'old spec' deactivation with cocking and dry firing action, sighted barrel, Bakelite grips and folding stock, stamped 'MP40 bnz.43' to breech, also numbered '885' to other parts, Waffen marks to ammunition clip and barrel etc. original brown leather sling, COD dated 11/6/1992.
