A Large 19th Century Alabaster Ewer of Neo-classical Design (FS45/890) offered in our Two Day Fine Art Sale starting on 21st January 2020 at our salerooms in Exeter, Devon.
Lot Description
A large 19th century alabaster ewer of neo-classical design with shell-shaped spout held in the mouth of a grotesque serpent, decorated with urns and ribbon-tied garlands, on a circular foot mounted on a square plinth base, 55cm high together with a near matching ewer, 52cm high, both converted to table lamps.
