Of Coleridge Interest An unusual Holm oak Quercus Ilex rectangular settle in the Arts and Crafts manner, the slatted back with square section top rail centred by the word 'ILEX', having a solid seat and square section legs, united by plain stretchers, 213.5cm (7ft) long 100cm (3ft 31/4in) high.

- Sothebys Sale Chanters House Ottery St Mary 2006 - Lot 1 - The Former Property Of The 2nd Baron Coleridge Beckwood - 2nd Baron Coleridge (1851-1927) Was The Third Generation Of His Family To Be A Judge. He Was Also The First Peer To Practice At The Bar And A Liberal Member Of Parliament For Sheffield Attercliffe From 1885-1894. He Left The Bench In 1923 And In His Retirement Continued To Write And Design Pieces Of Furniture Such As This Settle.
