A Regency mahogany breakfront library bookcase, the upper part with a moulded cornice, fitted with adjustable shelves enclosed by two pairs of pointed arch astragal glazed panel doors, the lower part having a central section with pull out baize inset panel writing surface with apertures for ink bottles and pen tray, the cupboard below fitted with adjustable shelves enclosed by a pair of reeded fielded panel doors, flanked by a similarly enclosed cupboard to either side, between pilaster stiles on a plinth base, 230cm (7ft 6 1/2in) length, 269cm (8ft 10in) height, 47.5cm (1ft 10 3/4in) depth.
