Sale FS39; Lot: 0565: A large Meissen group of the 'The Wine Pressers' after the original by J C.Schonheit, with six children around a large winepress, on gilt decorated circular neo-classical base, underglaze blue crossed swords mark and incised model no J3, 19th century, 25cm high [one figure lacking and one re-stuck, minor damage].

Sale FS39; Lot: 0730: Grignon Meusnier, a French mantel clock with calendar the eight-day duration movement striking the hours and half-hours on a bell with an outside countwheel, the backplate stamped with the maker's details Grignon Meusnier, Paris, Breveté, 117, the skeletonised dial having a white enamelled chapter ring with black Roman numerals and blued-steel moon hands, with the balance to the movement visible within the centre along with a silvered alarm setting disc and winding arbor, with three further subsidiary dials set below within the case depicting the day, month and date, the gilt-metal case of scroll form and surmounted by a cast matching handle, the case numbered 117 and stamped with the initials GM to the decorative rear, height 19cm * Biography the founder Pierre Grignon is recorded as working in Paris from the mid-18th century. by circa 1860 the business was known as Grignon Meusnier recorded at rue Charlot 60in the heart of the clockmaking region of the city. in 1853 they had been granted a patent for the fitting of a movement pendulum (balance).

Sale FS40; Lot: 0687: A 19th century Cantonese carved ivory pleasure junk the pagoda style superstructure with trellis decorated panels, with four figures on the bow, four oarsmen and reclining figures to the interior, the stern with two lanterns and four pennants, 37cm long, some losses, on a polished mahogany stand with glazed dome.

Sale FS41; Lot: 0982: An early 18th Century walnut and cross and feather banded bureau, the sloping hinged fall enclosing an inlaid graduated fitted interior bordered with boxwood lines with pigeon holes and small drawers about a central enclosed cupboard flanked by turned half columns, having a well with sliding cover, containing two short and two long drawers below, on bracket feet, 107cm (3ft 6in) wide.
