Sale FS35; Lot: 0770: A Barr Flight & Barr [Worcester] triple spill vase the three conjoined cylindrical vases finely painted, possibly by Thomas Baxter, with oval panels of overlapping feathers on a trellis gilded orange ground, incised B and script marks with Coventry Street address, circa 1805, 13.5cm high [footrim chip restored].

Sale FS21; Lot: 0576: Charlotte Rhead, a tube-lined rectangular tile decorated with Elaine, the lily maid of Astolat guarding the shield of Lancelot, signed with initials 'L R.', 30 x 15cm, glaze imperfections. The composition is taken from an illustration by George Woolliscroft Rhead for an 1898 publication of Tennyson's Idylls of the King, a copy of which is included in the lot. The volume was illustrated in partnership with Louis Rhead raising the possibility that the tile was tubelined by him rather than Charlotte.

Sale FS37; Lot: 1049: Payne, London an English boulle-cased bracket clock the eight-day duration, single-fusee timepiece movement having an anchor escapement and engraved to the backplate Payne, 163 New Bond Street, London, the white enamel and cast-brass dial having blue Roman numerals and outer Arabic five-minute numerals to the individual plaques with the centre signed Payne, 163 New Bond Street, London, and having blued-steel decorative hands, the waisted boulle case of red tortoiseshell inlaid with engraved brass along with two birds and two snails of inlaid mother-of-pearl, with applied ormolu mounts and surmounted by the figure of an eagle, height 55cm * Biography William Payne was a well-known maker in the Victorian period and is recorded as working at 163, New Bond Street, London from 1826 until 1851 and then as Payne & Co until at least 1875. He previously worked in various addresses in the West End of London from 1811.

Sale FS40; Lot: 0619: A pair of Coalport jars and covers of tapering form set on four lion paw feet, the handles with lion mask terminals, both decorated with gilt edged landscape panels, one by Percy Simpson, on gilt embellished royal blue grounds, green backstamps and pattern No V 6969/E, one captioned 'Mt. Venus', circa 1915-20, 17cm high, [knops and one handle restored].
