An 18th century walnut oyster veneered crossbanded and inlaid chest on later stand, the upper part with a sycamore bordered top decorated with geometric lines fitted with two long drawers, the stand with a shaped apron on spirally turned legs, united by flattened undulating stretchers terminating in pear-shaped feet, 89cm (2ft 11in) wide.
