Lot Description

A Victorian English skeleton clock the eight-day duration, single-fusee timepiece movement having an anchor escapement, with scroll-shaped plates and standing on turned brass feet, the silvered chapter ring having scalloped edges, black Roman hour numerals and blued steel moon hands, standing on an oval ebonised base with glass dome, height 26.5cm (base and clock); 28cm (including dome).
