Lot Description
A porcelain tile by Charles Noke, probably Royal Doulton of rectangular form decorated in flambé and coloured slips with an alchemist in his workshop, set in a walnut and ebony trimmed cushion frame with secret push button revealing a hinged door containing two slender spirit decanters inside, the reverse fitted with brackets for wall hanging, early 20th century, 40cm high overall.
