Sale SC22; Lot: 0201: A 17th century Turkish Kilij, the broad reinforced blade with single curved edge and double edged point, inset with gold koftgari and tughra, two further rectangular calligraphic panels surrounding a star, the downward swept hilt and handle inset with coral and turquoise, in a matching scabbard also inset five oval turquoise and gilt inscriptions, the reverse with floral geometric decoration, blade length 71cm.

Sale FS52; Lot: 1735: A large kingwood, gilt metal mounted and glazed vitrine in Louis XV taste, late 19th / early 20th century, the arched, faceted and ogee moulded top with foliate cast mounts, above an arched door flanked to each side by two bowed glass panels, each pair with a maiden headed scrolling foliate cast mount between them, above painted scenes of figures and landscapes in Vernis Martin style, on splayed legs with foliate cast metal sabots; 233cm high, 166cm wide, 53cm deep.
