Lot Description

A Chelsea bonbonniere in the form of a lady's head, wearing a black mask, inset rose diamond eyes and pink trimmed bonnet with feather plume, the gold mount inscribed in white enamel 'Votre Amitie Fait/Mon Bonheur', the agate cover enclosing an interior painted with flower sprays, circa 1755-60, 4.5 cm.

This item is part of a 124 lot collection being sold at auction through Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood.

The Flowerday Collection of 18th Century English porcelain is the result of almost 40 years of collecting and includes the twelve 'Galle' faience cats.
