A fine Napoleon III mahogany, kingwood, burr walnut and marquetry table de milieu, in the Louis XVI style, applied with gilt metal mounts, the rectangular top with rounded ends decorated with a central marquetry panel of flora, fruits and foliage within a guilloche border and trellis and flowerhead surround, above a frieze drawer applied with mounts in the Weisweiler style, the ends with anthemion mounts on square section tapering legs applied with shuttering and acanthus leaf mounts, joined by a shaped undulating H stretcher centred by a classical vase finial on foliate cast spool feet, 126cm wide, 63cm deep, 72cm high.
