Sale FS41; Lot: 0519: A Chinese blue and white vase of baluster form with waisted slender neck and ruyi handles, painted with scrolling peony, lingzhi sprays and foliage between ruyi-head and lappet borders at the rim and foot, six-character Qianlong seal mark, bears a fragment of a collector's paper label, 27cm high [tiny flat chip to one ruyi handle terminal]. Sale FS40; Lot: 0971: A Victorian walnut, floral marquetry and gilt metal mounted card table, of serpentine outline in the French taste, bordered with boxwood lines, the baize lined hinged top with a central ebonised ground and floral marquetry cartouche-shaped panel with central bird, having a gilt metal beaded edge, the shaped apron applied with foliage, flowerheads and rocaille on cabriole legs, headed with similar decoration, trailing to sabots, 92cm (3ft 0 1/4in) wide.
