An early Victorian oak library bookcase, of large size, the upper part with a moulded cornice, fitted with adjustable shelves enclosed by three pairs of pointed arch lozenge wire mesh panel doors between fluted pilasters carved with rosettes, the lower part with a moulded edge fitted with three short panelled frieze drawers and enclosed by three pairs of recessed pointed arch panelled doors below, between similar pilasters, on a plinth base, 284cm (9ft 4in) long, 272cm (8ft 11in) high.

Lot Description

An early Victorian oak library bookcase, of large size, the upper part with a moulded cornice, fitted with adjustable shelves enclosed by three pairs of pointed arch lozenge wire mesh panel doors between fluted pilasters carved with rosettes, the lower part with a moulded edge fitted with three short panelled frieze drawers and enclosed by three pairs of recessed pointed arch panelled doors below, between similar pilasters, on a plinth base, 284cm (9ft 4in) long, 272cm (8ft 11in) high.
