Drocourt of Paris, a petite-sonnerie gorge cased carriage clock the eight-day duration movement striking the hours on a gong and the quarters on two-gongs and having a replaced platform lever escapement, with alarm, the backplate stamped with the Drocourt trademark the initials DC either side of a clock and serial number 16403, along with the retailers name and serial number Le Roy et Fils, Palais Royale 13 & 15, Paris, 11473, the inside of the plates stamped with a further Drocourt trademark and blanc roulant number 2416, the white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, Arabic outer numerals, blued steel moon hands and a subsidiary alarm dial, the brass gorge case having a five-bail handle and stamped to the underside with a repeat of the serial number, along with a lever for 'sonnerie/silence', height 13.5cm handle down, 15.5cm handle up.
