Lot Description

A late 17th century English dated delftware spice jar of squat globular form with scroll handles, painted in blue with darker trek outlines with birds, pierced rockwork, flowers and foliage, the foliate border below the rim inscribed 'M P./1695', 17.5cm wide [base drilled with two small holes, foot rim reduced, other damages, cover lacking].
