Sale FS41; Lot: 1003: An early 19th Century mahogany and inlaid secretaire bookcase, crossbanded in kingwood bordered with boxwood lines, the upper part with a moulded swan neck broken pediment with circular and oval fan medallions, arcaded pendant hung frieze and adjustable shelves enclosed by a pair of pointed and ogee arched glazed panel doors, the lower part having a hinged fall enclosing a fitted interior with pigeon holes and satinwood veneered small drawers, the cupboard below fitted with a single long drawer and sliding trays enclosed by a pair of doors inlaid with oval lines, on splayed bracket feet, 90cm (2ft 11 1/2in) wide, 229cm (7ft 6in) high.
