A rare Indian mother of pearl and stone casket of rectangular form, the brass frame applied with polished red stone and mother of pearl plaques of fish-scale and foliate design secured with metal pins, with iron hinges and clasp, on shaped bracket feet, Gujarat, 17th century, 20cm wide [some old damage and losses].
