Drocourt a Paris, an engraved Gorge cased French striking carriage clock, the eight-day duration movement having a platform lever escapement and striking the hours and half hours on a gong with push repeat and numbered '5758' to the backplate, stamped between the plates with the secret trademark for Drocourt of Paris, the white enamel dial having an engine turned gilt mask, black Roman numerals and blued steel moon hands, the Gorge case profusely engraved with floral decoration, with shuttered winding holes to the engraved solid back door, the inside engraved with the retailer's details 'J M Baab, 19 Gerrard St, Soho, London', height: 13.5cm (handle down).
