Sale SS4; Lot: 0130: Dame Lucie Rie DBE (1902-1995), a porcelain bottle vase of shouldered oviform with raised slender neck and flaring rim decorated with mildly pitted, curdled and banded bronze glazes with linear sgrafitto or 'knitted' decoration inside the rim, on the shoulders and under the foot, impressed personal seal, 24cm high.

Sale FS37; Lot: 1050: A Victorian English skeleton clock the eight-day duration, single-fusee timepiece movement having an anchor escapement, with scroll-shaped plates and standing on turned brass feet, the silvered chapter ring having scalloped edges, black Roman hour numerals and blued steel moon hands, standing on an oval ebonised base with glass dome, height 26.5cm (base and clock); 28cm (including dome).

Sale FS24; Lot: 0868: By Peter Waals (1870-1937) - Cotswold School - A walnut secretaire cabinet, the hinged fall with raised moulded and strapped panel enclosing a fitted and chequer inlaid interior with pigeon holes, seven small drawers and a central enclosed cupboard, having a leather inset writing surface containing an arrangement of six short fielded panel drawers and an enclosed cupboard below, on shaped trestle ends with arched chamfered stretcher, 101cm (3ft 3 3/4in) wide, 130cm (4ft 3in) high. *Note - A somewhat similar secretaire was sold in the contents of Topps, Stockton, Warminster, Woolley & Wallis October 1978.
