A monumental Victorian carved walnut, burr veneered and burr oak breakfront sideboard, the shelved and mirrored superstructure with a turned gallery and shell and ribbon tied laurel garland pediment, a moulded dentil cornice with foliate decorated cushion frieze, on fluted and turned acanthus columns with scroll capitals, the domed flanking panels with masks, scrolling foliage and laurel garlands, the lower part with a gadrooned edge, having a central frieze drawer with cupboard below with a sliding cellarette, enclosed by a pair of doors with horned mask and acanthus scroll decoration flanked by open panelled recesses with square section tapered columns on a moulded plinth base with bun feet. 229cm (7ft 6in) long, 290cm (9ft 6in) height. Sale FS41; Lot: 1053: A lady's Edwardian rosewood and marquetry writing table, of bowed breakfront outline, bordered with boxwood lines and decorated with foliate scroll designs, heightened in ivory, the shelved and mirrored superstructure with a shaped ledge cresting, fitted with four small drawers, the top inset with a panel of tooled leather, having a central bow-fronted shaped apron drawer flanked by two small drawers to either side, on square tapered legs headed with ribbon tied pendant husk ornament, terminating in castors, 91.5cm (3ft) wide.

Sale FS40; Lot: 0804: A French Edwardian carriage clock the eight-day duration movement having a silvered platform lever escapement and striking the hours and half-hours on a gong, with a push button to the top allowing a repeat of the last hour at will, the backplate stamped with the serial number 2202, the white enamel dial having black Roman hour numerals and shaped blued steel hands and having a subsidiary alarm setting dial, the brass serpentine-shaped case with bevelled glass to all sides and surmounted by a fluted shaped handle, complete with original numbered key and original travelling box, height 16cm (handle up), 14.5cm (handle down).
