The aim of The Lenkiewicz Legacy Sale was to raise funds for The Lenkiewicz Foundation to help them acquire permanent premises on The Barbican in Plymouth. The Foundation decided to include selected major oil paintings from their own small collection in the sale to help them achieve this objective. The other major contribution to the sale came from the collection of Graham Carey, a patron and friend of Lenkiewicz.

The Private View on 17th March 2015 at our Westcountry Saleroom Complex was attended by The Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Percy Prouse, and the Lady Mayoress, Elaine Prouse, together with a number of invited guests who enjoyed a reception with sparkling wine and canapes.

The Lenkiewicz Legacy Sale was held at the end of March 2015 and presented potential bidders with a new opportunity to buy from a carefully selected group of paintings and artworks that demonstrate the development, vision, direction and range of Robert Lenkiewicz as an artist.
