April 2015 Fine Art Auction Private View
The Right Worshipful Lord Mayor of Exeter, Councillor Percy Prouse and the Lady
Mayoress, Elaine Prowse, attended the Private View on 17th April 2015 of the April
2015 Fine Art Auction. The reception was held at our Westcountry Saleroom Complex
in Exeter. The event gave invited guests the opportunity to examine the many examples
of fine art in the auction while enjoying sparkling wine and canapes.

April 2015 Fine Art Auction
in Exeter. The Lord Mayor and his wife were shown a number of works of art, including
a
Chinese Red Cinnabar Lacquer 'Dragon' Box and Cover
(FS26/733), which went onto realise £44,000 after fierce bidding between telephone
and Internet bidders on the second day of the sale.

Our guests were able to peruse the fine art that was set out for the sale and were
able to inspect items at close quarters while enjoying refreshments.
The highlight of the evening was a short talk by Andrew Thomas guiding those present
through some of the really exciting pieces on offer in the two day sale.
