Lacroix & Falconnet

Information about Lacroix & Falconnet

Clockmakers Lacroix & Falconnet were known to have been working at Trois-Rois, Place de Bel-Air 56, Geneva in 1835 since there is an extant guarantee for their work from this date as fabricant d'horlogeries.

Lacroix & Falconnet were makers and retailers of jewellery, clocks and watches, especially those with pendants, along with pieces of enamel, pearls and musical boxes. They were still working in 1861 with correspondence from a client abroad known.

The Lacroix family were well-known horologists in Geneva at this time, being first recorded in the early 17th century.
