Biography of artist Elliott Seabrooke (1886-1950)
Elliott Seabrooke (1886-1950) studied at The Slade School under Henry Tonks 1906-11 and first exhibited at The Carfax Gallery.
Seabrooke served with the British Red Cross and then became an official war artist on the Italian front.
Seabrooke became a member of the London Group in 1920 and its President for 1943-1948. His work was influenced by Cezanne and Seurat.
