David Tindle (b 1932) is a painter, printmaker and teacher, who was born in Yorkshire in 1932. He studied at Coventry School of Art and exhibited early in his career at the Summer Royal Academy Exhibitions and at the Piccadilly Galleries.
Tindle has built up an impressive British and Continental exhibitions record, including John Moores, Liverpool, the Hayward Gallery, Royal Academy-British Paintings 1952-77, Redfern 1966, Fisher Fine Art, Italy and Paris.
Tindle lives in a hill village above Pisa in Italy.
