David Eustace (b 1950)
Biography of English contemporary artist David Eustace (b 1950)
David Eustace (b 1950) is an English contemporary artist born in Birmingham in 1950.
Eustace was encouraged to attend art school but a lack of money prevented this and he trained to become a carpenter. He did subsequently train at Sutton School of Art and then Exeter College of Art, but insists that he is self-taught.
Eustace is a painter, muralist and jazzman, latterly part of a quartet called Shufflebones. His paintings reveal a social quirkiness combining odd characters and peculiar moments.
