Biography of painter Bernard Meninsky (1891-1950)
Bernard Meninsky (1891-1950) was born in the Ukraine, Russia. His family moved to England.
Meninsky studied at Liverpool and the Slade. Meminsky was an official war artist for 1914-1918. He exhibited at NEAC and The London Group.
Meninsky taught at the Central School of Arts & Crafts and from 1920 at the Westminster School of Art. His first solo exhibition was at the Goupil Gallery.
