A stylish 20th century Norwegian pewter chalice catches the eye among the modern design items at the Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood's Antiques & Interiors including Jewellery Auction on Tuesday, 24th October 2017. This Norsk Kyrre pewter is decorated with stylised Nordic motifs in the tradition of modern Scandinavian design and has an estimate of £40-£60* (EX195/798).

Across the painting section, there are West Country oil paintings by William and Frederick Widgery with estimates from £300*, but with a more contemporary feel are four giclee prints by the 20th century American artist Todd White, who was born in Texas in 1969. ‘Heaven Beside You’ with an estimate of £100-£200 (EX195/675).

There are a variety of timepieces on offer in the sale including a late Victorian brass mantel eight-day striking clock by well establish London firm of JW Benson. It has an estimate of £150-£200*(EX195/795).

Among the decorative and collectable glass and china are a number of lots of Moorcroft Pottery including this pleasing 18cm tall Pomegranate pattern vase, which is estimated at £300-£400* (EX195/541), and for the person who has everything, apart from a continental porcelain group in the form of two porters carrying a sedan chair timepiece, this is just the thing, which is fancily decorated in the 18th century style and estimated at £70-£100* (EX195/623).

With over 100 lots of furniture ranging from the 18th century to the present day, there are a number of good Victorian pieces including a pine pedestal desk, pine and oak dressers plus a walnut, inlaid and gilt metal mounted credenza which is conservatively estimated at £400-£500* (EX195/884).

Jewellery is always a popular buy at auctions, especially as we head towards Christmas!

A graduated oval agate bead, single string fringe necklace with interesting colour patterns make this piece of jewellery quite unique. A lovely gift, also believed to bring ‘balance’ and ‘harmony' to your life, who can resist it at an estimate of £80-£150*.

A graduated diamond three-stone ring, total diamond weight approximately 2.1cts, ring size Q, would make the perfect Christmas present. The old-cut diamonds within this ring are vibrant and timeless: diamonds are a girl’s best friend after all…… estimate £1,000-£1,500*(EX195/350).

Micro Mosaic scenes typically include various architectural scenes of Rome and other European cities, created with a multitude of small pieces of multi-coloured glass tiles or tesserae. Art lovers can enjoy carrying a tiny piece of history in the form of a fashion accessory like this pair of micro mosaic oval panel drop earrings, with an estimate of £150-£200* (EX195/279).
