Biography of sculptor and painter Marzia Colonna (b 1951)

Marzia Colonna (b 1951), sculptor and painter, was born in Pisa in 1951 and by the age of 17 had graduated from art school and was studying drawing in Florence.

Since the early 1970s, Colonna has lived with her husband in England and since 1985 she has lived with her family in Dorset. She has had numerous exhibitions in London and southern England.

Major sculptures are with The Jerwood Foundation, Newby Hall, Salisbury Cathedral and Sherbourne Abbey.
