Sale FS26; Lot: 0144: An early George III silver table centrepiece, maker Thomas Hemming, London, 1765 bears Lovell family coat of arms, surmounted with a lozenge-shaped dish with pierced foliate and trellis decoration with glass liner, the domed shaped base, with beaded order to the neck, pierced foliate, scroll and flowerhead chased decoration, on four swept feet, having four swept branches each with a foliate circular dish with glass liners, 28cm wide, 26cm high, together with a set of four plated candle holders and central candle holder supported by a putto to convert the centrepiece to a candelabra, total weight of silver 79.42ozs.
