There are some sixty lots amongst this good private collection of furniture and dates and estimates vary widely.

A Charles II oak oval gateleg table (FS27/683) has an estimate of £1,200-£1,500 and a George II carved mahogany card table (FS27/696) with a pre-sale estimate of £4,000-£6,000. Also on offer is a pair of 19th century satinwood dwarf side cabinets in the Regency taste (FS27/700), estimated at £3,000-£5,000.

A Biedermeier maple veneer and ebonised chest (FS27/713) is offered at £600-£800 and a late 18th century Dutch Gonzalo Alves and marquetry inlaid card table (FS27/716) invites bids of £1,500-£2,000.

There are some stylish Art Deco pieces of furniture on offer, including an Art Deco figured walnut bureau (FS27//727) carrying an estimate of £350-£450 and a pair of Art Deco birds eye maple and ebonised square pedestals (FS27/728) with an estimate of £500-£700. A pair of Art Deco marble top bedside cabinets (FS27/733) estimated at £1,200-£1,500 and an Art Deco burr maple veneer and upholstered three piece lounge suite attributed to Heals (FS27/735) that carries a pre-sale estimate of £2,000-£3,000.

A George III mahogany and inlaid drop flap breakfast table, crossbanded in satinwood bordered with boxwood and ebony lines, the hinged top with rounded corners, the frieze fitted with a drawer to either end, on ring turned central column and quadruped splayed legs, terminating in brass cappings and castors, the top 91.5cm x 121cm (3ft 11 1/2in) extended.
